3.5 to 4 stars. I haven't read many Maya Banks books, actually, this was my second one and I did enjoy it better than my first read of hers. I love a baby story and I love some angsty goodness and this one offered it especially at the beginning and certainly at the end. I knew what was coming for the big realization and felt so awful for Byrony. I felt the same betrayal she did when she finally learned the truth.
All in all a good read and a nice start to this little series. The fact that all of the books are about pregnancy and babies is an added bonus for me. :)
I am planning to read more of her books and have in fact requested the first KGI series book for my Kindle. I just won't read any of her menage books. Not my cuppa. Good thing I know I won't find it in any of her Silhouette stories. :) ha ha
